·         AOL reported revenues of $710.3MM and adjusted EPS of $0.92. This was a mixed result: analysts were expecting revenues of $721.8MM and EPS of $0.72, with advertising sales of $557.9MM and subscription sales of $148.2MM
·         Apple, which began playing with a record valuation of $700B during midday trading in November, ended the day yesterday at $710.7B, more than twice as valuable as longtime rival Microsoft
